In a tiresomely predictable piece of policy-based evidence-making, the UK authorities have continued to use their self appropriated powers to put almost all of the UK into their new Tier 4, which is lockdown by any other name

There are two important aphorisms to remember when consulting ‘experts’ ; the first is Warren Buffet’s comment that “You should never ask a barber if you need a haircut” , or in a similar vein, ask a General if you need to go to war or if he needs more money for weapons. The second is the old expression from the Soviet Union, “to a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail.”

Look at Linked In or any corporate website and everything is about Climate Change, sustainability and ESG. There is no longer even any debate about the science, it has, according to the politicians at least, been ‘settled’ even though of course in real life, it has not.
